Nee, de tarieven die je ziet voor 2026 zijn al berekend met het nieuwe btw-tarief van 21% dat per 1 januari 2026 geldt. Je hoeft dus geen extra prijsstijging te verwachten.
Is it possible to hold a private party, such as a wedding?
It is not possible to organise a private party, such as a wedding, at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen.
Can I stay in my own tent or motorhome?
It is not allowed to spend the night in your own tent or camper.
What kind of game can I expect on the grounds of Buitenplaats Beekhuizen?
Buitenplaats Beekhuizen bevindt zich midden in de prachtige Veluwezoom, waar je kunt genieten van een rijke flora en fauna. Can I set off fireworks at the park?
Due to the protected nature reserve and the welfare of wildlife, it is not allowed to set off fireworks at our park.
Is Buitenplaats Beekhuizen accessible by public transport?
Buitenplaats Beekhuizen is located in a beautiful spot in the middle of nature. We recommend taking a taxi from Velp station or Arnhem station to our park.
You can also use a public transport bike or a service like Greenwheels to cover the last stretch to the Buitenplaats. So your adventure in nature starts on the way!
Are dogs welcome at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen?
Yes, dogs are very welcome at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen! For a small nightly surcharge, we greet your four-legged friend with a delightful welcome pack. Everything to make your furry companion feel just as at home as you do. Unfortunately, other pets are not allowed in the park.
You may bring: 1 small to medium-sized dog in a Pod, 2 small or medium-sized dogs in a Forest Cabin, 2 large dogs in a Lodgetent. Would you like to deviate from this? Please contact our reception – we are happy to think along with you.
Some Lodgetents have a practical lockable gate (115, 116, 201, 207, 209, 211, 212, 401), and Forest Cabins feature a ring near the veranda where you can attach a leash.
To keep the peace for all guests, we kindly ask that dogs remain on a leash, both in the park and at your accommodation.

Is Buitenplaats Beekhuizen suitable for wheelchair users?
At Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, you are surrounded by nature in its purest form, nestled in a hilly landscape. While our accommodations are reached via unpaved paths, they are accessible by wheelchair, and we are happy to provide ramps at your accommodation to ensure a more comfortable stay.
Please keep in mind that our accommodations do not include special adaptations such as wider doorways, modified kitchens or bathrooms, support handles, or shower chairs.
Feel free to contact our reception, we will be happy to advise you on the most comfortable accommodation with sufficient space to move around. We also like to think along with you in terms of parking, as the car parks are not right next to the accommodations. We will make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible!

Is it allowed to gourmet, fondue or barbecue in the accommodation?
Yes, gourmets and fondues are allowed in our accommodations. Just make sure you ventilate the room well after use. Barbecuing at your accommodation is also possible, but with some conditions. Gas and electric barbecues are allowed at every accommodation and the most preferred option.
Coal barbecues are never allowed at the Forest Cabins and only allowed at the other accommodations during Phase 1 of the wildfire risk. Bring your own barbecue or hire an electric table barbecue from reception. On certain days, barbecue packages from the butcher are also available, so keep an eye on "extra bookings" in "My Area"!
Can I book a baby bed and/or baby chair in the accommodation?
We happily welcome your little ones to our Luxury Pods, Lodgetents, and Forest Cabins. Due to limited space, this is unfortunately not possible in the Superior and Bush Pods. You can easily add a baby bed or high chair to your booking for a small fee. Simply include it during your reservation or add it later via your "My Environment" account.
Is there a laundry facility or dryer available?
We do not have a launderette at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen. Should you wish to do some laundry during your stay, you can visit Wassalon Vébé van Steijn Laundry at Spijkerstraat 195 in Arnhem.
Is there a locked bicycle shed available?
On site, we do not have a covered, lockable bicycle shed. However, there is an open shed next to reception where you can park your bike. It is also possible to park your bike next to your accommodation. Please note that (racing) bikes may not be stored in the accommodation.
Is bike rental available?
Yes, at reception you can rent bikes from our partner VeluweActief. We offer 7-gear bikes, electric bikes and child seats. The bikes can be rented per full day.
To make sure you get the bikes you want, you can book them in advance via "My environment" under "Extras extra" or contact reception. Please indicate which days you want to use the bikes, as once booked, the reservation is final. contact op met de receptie. Is there free WiFi?
Yes, in your own accommodation you have free Wi-Fi at your disposal. Each accommodation has its own modem, so you can count on a strong connection. Whether you’re working remotely or simply staying connected, you can enjoy the convenience of seamless internet — all while being surrounded by the beauty of nature.
How does the hot tub work and is it advisable to book it in advance?
The park has one central hot tub. This hot tub can be booked per day, and we recommend doing so in advance to ensure availability. The hot tub is reserved for you from 13:00 to 22:00. It is not possible to reserve the hot tub for a part of the day.
We make sure the hot tub is clean and filled with hot water. Between 1 pm and no later than 4.30 pm, the hot tub will be handed over in consultation with you and our housekeeping. You will receive useful tips and can then enjoy these relaxing hours. You can use the hot tub several times a day if you wish, until 10.00 p.m., as we maintain silence on the park from then onwards.

Are campfires allowed near the accommodations?
It is not allowed to make a (camp) fire. At Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, we believe in enjoying nature together and taking responsibility for its protection together. We want to increase our impact and make a positive contribution to local biodiversity.
Open fires can produce significant smoke and harmful emissions, disrupting the ecosystem in various ways. For these reasons, we apply a ban on open fire at the accommodations. Is it possible to make reservations for lunch?
No, reservations are only possible for dinner. For lunch or drinks it is not possible to make a reservation, you are welcome to ask on the spot if there is still a table available. Take a seat on our cosy, heated terrace or cosy inside.
Is the terrace heated?
Yes, our terrace is heated, so you can sit comfortably on our terrace even on colder days.

Do you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?
Our menu clearly indicates which products are gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. Please note that our products may contain different types of allergens. I would like to eat at Woodz restaurant during my stay. Is it advisable to book in advance or can I do so on arrival?
Restaurant Woodz welcomes you in a cosy atmosphere with a delicious menu for lunch, drinks and dinner. You can make reservations via our website or on the spot, depending on availability. As seats are limited, we recommend you book early for dinner to ensure a spot.

What facilities are there for babies in my accommodation?
Besides the option to book a baby bed and/or high chair, the accommodations are thoughtfully equipped for your stay:
- Luxury Pods: Include a microwave, perfect for warming baby food.
- Lodgetents: Feature gas hobs and, for added safety, certain Lodgetents have a lockable gate (115, 116, 201, 209, 211, 212, or 401).
- Tip: Winters in Lodgetents can get chilly, so for little ones, we recommend choosing a well-heated Luxury Pod or Forest Cabin.

Is there a TV in my accommodation?
No, our accommodations do not have TVs. At Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, we invite you to step away from screens and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Enjoy the tranquility, connect with your surroundings, and take the time to truly unwind. Here, it’s all about the simple pleasures—listening to the sounds of the forest, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, and creating lasting memories with loved ones.
Does it get cold in a Lodgetent at night?
A limited number of Lodgetents are open during the winter season. These are equipped with extra duvets and a pellet and petroleum heater or two petroleum heaters, so you can warm up nicely. You will also find jars in the tent for extra cosiness. With plaids and an extra jumper from home, you can make yourself comfortable.
If you prefer some extra comfort during the winter months, you can also opt for a wooden Pod or Forest Cabin. Our Pods have heating, and the Superior Pod even has underfloor heating. The Forest Cabin can be sustainably heated with infrared ceiling panels. So you can enjoy a wonderful stay in nature in winter too!

Please note that a small surcharge applies for preferred bookings, ensuring your perfect spot in nature is reserved just for you.

Can a lodger stay? And are there any costs involved?
Yes, guests are welcome at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, as long as there are beds available in the accommodation. For a guest we do ask a contribution for bed and bath linen, as well as accommodation tax. We make sure your stay with extra company is just as comfortable and pleasant!
May I receive visitors during my stay?
Yes, visitors are very welcome at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen! We do have a maximum number of visitors per accommodation, equal to the number of guests that can stay there:
Luxury Pod: 2 person
Bush Pod: 4 people
Superior Pod: 4 people
Lodgetent: 4 persons
XL lodge tents: 7 people
Forest Cabin: 4 persons
Make sure the reception does not give out accommodation numbers to visitors. Let your visitors know which number you are staying in so they can find you easily. Of course, the reception can help them with directions if they know the number.
We would appreciate it if you inform reception when you receive visitors. There is no extra charge for a day visit. Enjoy your time together in nature!
Is it possible to charge a car electrically?
Please note that charging an electric car is not possible at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen. At Boutique Hotel Beekhuizen, across the street from the Buitenplaats, charging stations are available for you to use by arrangement. You will also find a public charging post at Hoofdstraat 172 in Velp.
Can I check in after 17:00?
If you arrive later than 17:00, please contact reception in good time via e-mail or phone. We will make sure you get the necessary information about checking in after regular opening hours.
What are the arrival and departure times?
You are welcome to check in between 15:00 and 17:00 at our reception. You will find the reception building at the beginning of the park, on the left-hand side. First park your car in the car park in front of the park and then report to reception.
If you arrive later than 17:00, please contact reception in good time via e-mail or phone. We will make sure you get the necessary information about checking in after regular opening hours.
Check-out can take place between 08:30 and 10:00. Would you like to check out earlier outside these times? Please ask at reception so we can provide you with the right information. We look forward to welcoming you!
Where can I park?
At Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, you have an allocated parking space per accommodation. The parking spaces are spread throughout the park and may sometimes be a little further from your accommodation. If you come with several cars, you can park them at the general car park just outside the park.
I forgot or lost something during my stay. What is the best thing to do now?
If you’ve forgotten or lost something during your stay at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen, don’t worry—we’re here to help. Simply contact our reception by phone at 026 2020365 (option 2). Our team will gladly check if your item has been found. Should we locate it, we’re happy to arrange for it to be sent to you (postage fees apply). We’re always ready to assist in any way we can!
