Together, we can enjoy nature while taking responsibility for protecting it. We strive to continuously improve the sustainability of our Buitenplaats, ensuring we make a positive contribution to our stunning surroundings and local biodiversity.
In 2015, we took over the neglected grounds of the former Camping Beekhuizen. Since then, we have been committed to restoring the landscape and nature. Although we have already achieved a lot, our dedication to sustainability extends far beyond ‘just’ sustainable efforts that are beneficial for our park and the surrounding area. We hope to be a source of inspiration for you as a guest and for others in the sector, as pioneers.
Since 2015, we have been working on restoring the landscape and nature at and around Buitenplaats Beekhuizen. Landscape architects, ecologists and sustainability consultants are involved in this restoration to ensure that all modifications are in harmony with the environment. Some of the efforts we have implemented in recent years are:
Green Key is the largest international sustainability label for the hospitality sector in the Netherlands. Companies with a Green Key label meet strict standards within 12 sustainability themes and do everything they can to protect the environment. On 15 February 2024, we underwent the audit and Buitenplaats Beekhuizen was certified with Green Key Gold. The certification was also achieved in 2025 and from now on we will be re-audited every other year. For more information, see the website of Green Key.

Sleeping up to 7 people (max. 5 adults), this spacious tent combines the adventurous feeling of camping with the comforts of home. The Lodge Tent XL features 3 sleeping areas, and the fully equipped kitchen-diner with a large dining table and spacious seating area make your stay extra comfortable. Furthermore, the Lodge Tent XL has a bathroom with a rain shower, toilet, and sink, and you can enjoy the covered veranda with a lounge corner and picnic table.
